change is constant

Change is the only constant in our life.

Our bodies transform from babies to elders, our minds move through waves of thought, families grow and shrink, communities evolve and merge, as the earth stays in motion dancing from one season to the next.

Knowing this does not make letting go any easier.

Yet the buddha reminds us the root of all suffering is attachment.

Letting go is the key.

The practice of meditation allows us to observe the fluctuations of the mind, the body, and the world as is. We practice remaining completely present, without judgment, attachment, or holding on, inevitably bringing us into a state of peace.

Yogash Chitta Vritti Nirodha
When you cease to identify with the fluctuations of the mind, then there is yoga, oneness.
